Architecture Testimonials
The first project consisted of a 250,000 SF
addition to the Arlington High School at an
estimated cost of $39.8 million. The project
also included a significant amount of site
development involving the relocation of a
wetland area and the habitat of an
endangered species. The project was
completed in September of 1998, both on time
and under budget. The second project
consisted of the construction of a 160,000
SF middle school and a 100,000 SF elementary
school, on a 100+- acre site in the Town of
Union Vale at an estimated cost of $44.4
million. This project was completed on time
and on budget and both schools opened on
schedule in September of 2004. Ron Cosentino
provided excellent service and guidance
throughout both projects from the
conceptual/planning phase right through to
the finish/punch list phase. It has been my
pleasure to have known and worked with them
and I would not hesitate to use their
services in the future.

At the end of
2002, we had a fire at St. James that
totally consumed our chapel. Ron Cosentino
freely gave of his time, talent, and
professional expertise in helping us through
every step of the process of rebuilding and
restoring the chapel. I do not believe this
would have been a doable task without his
commitment to the project and professional
wisdom. I would not hesitate for a moment to
contract his services confident in his
abilities to see a project done well with
tremendous attention to details. Ron’s
breath of knowledge is something that will
never cease to amaze me.

It has been my pleasure to work with Ron
Cosentino on two major projects for the
Department of Recreation, Parks, and
Community Services. Ron is an extremely
talented architect who is meticulous about
his work to the finest detail. Ron’s talent
does not only lie in technical areas. He is
an excellent communicator who excels at
working with community organizations and
design teams.

Ron Cosentino
is dedicated to the fulfillment of any
responsibility which he accepts. He will
never close the book on any project until
the very last item is completed. Under his
guidance, we have provided a well
constructed and practical building for the
parish.

Ron, without
fail, was always able to provide on the spot
explicit details concerning any and all
facets of the projects for anyone who had a
question. His vast experience, expertise,
and unfailing attention to detail was always
helpful in providing a rapid response to
questions and/or resolutions with the net
result that construction was expedited on a
daily and weekly basis. It was this kind of
assistance which was so critical in assuring
that we would open school on time in each of
two successive years, as per plan.

Because of
their significant, successful service to the
Town of Newburgh, I would recommend them as
the final candidate for any Public Works
Projects. Ronald Cosentino is always
available for consultation. Before one
drawing is developed, he will spend the
necessary time working with you and your
staff to seek input about specific Town
needs. Their work has been competent,
thorough, reliable, and always in the best
interest of the Client. Throughout our
multi-phase Additions & major Alterations,
we never lost on day of operation.

Having been a
Facilities Manager for eighteen plus years,
I have had the opportunity to experience
relationships with numerous architectural
and engineering firms. Of these firms, my
professional experience with Ron has been
the most positive whether it be a major
multi-million dollar building and renovation
project or a small repair or construction
project. Ron will provide you with the
personal service and experience that is hard
to find in today’s fast past world. Ron
provides a personal interest and continues
to provide assistance in dealing with any
building issues long after projects have
been completed.

Ron Cosentino,
assisted the Warwick Valley Central School
District with the planning and completion of
several major school expansion projects –
Addition & Alterations to the Warwick Valley
High School and the new Sanfordville
Elementary School, to name a few. I found
Ron Cosentino to be professionally
competent, extending himself beyond what is
normally expected. I also found Ron to be
very good at working with contractors and
solving problems. I highly recommend Ron
Cosentino for any building project you may
be contemplating.

During the past
seven years. Our firms have worked together
successfully on dozens of projects. Not only
do we enjoy working with Ron because of our
respect for his technical expertise and
knowledge, but also because he is a
conscientious and detail oriented architect.
This has earned Ron a reputation for being
highly regarded in several school and
municipal projects we have been involved in.
He is willing and cooperative, and has the
temperament to withstand the challenges that
go along with any renovation or new
construction project.
Some of the quality projects we have
finished with Cosentino Architecture include
the Newburgh Town Hall, Arlington Schools in
Pleasant Valley, various projects for
Washingtonville CSD, and the Dutchess County
Emergency Response 911 Center which includes
a geothermal design. Ron is also a LEED
Accredited Professional, and believes in
designing sustainable buildings. In addition
to excellence in design, Ron’s projects are
efficient, economical, functional, and
timely.

I’m writing in
support of architect Ronald Cosentino. Mr.
Cosentino has a long history of
architectural projects of the highest
quality and I would highly recommend him for
any architectural-engineering endeavor.
I have known Ron for more than 15 years. He
is a consummate professional, as well as an
extremely talented architect. In all the
time I’ve known Ron, I’ve never heard a
single negative comment about his areas of
expertise. He is a well respected
businessman. I feel very qualified in my
recommendation of Ron Cosentino.

I am writing to
express my appreciation for your superb
efforts on two of the College’s projects
during the past two years. As Project
Architect you have been thorough,
resourceful, cooperative, and a most welcome
member of our construction team.
Both projects -
Construction of Barrier Fee Entrances for
Campus Buildings and Construction of Stadium
Seating, Pressbox and Access Road - which
you enthusiastically pursued required an
extremely flexible professional and
attention to detail. In the instance of the
barrier free project, your ability to work
with and respond to various campus
committees, including handicapped students,
was a key factor in successful project
development. The stadium project placed you
in the center of a most difficult area. You
had to oversee development of a structural
foundation where industrial waste had been
found. Throughout the duration of this
project you most ably demonstrated deft
coordination among your consultants, the
prime contractor, the stadium manufacturer,
and the College. You performed most
masterfully. You have my sincere
appreciation for projects well done.

I have known
Ron since 2006. Our parish contracted with
his firm, for structural repairs for both
our church and parish house. The scope of
the project was extensive. Throughout the
process Ron and I met at least twenty times,
Ron’s professionalism was impressive. He’s
thoughtful, methodical, and thorough. He
demonstrates old-fashioned qualities that
are often lacking in the business world. He
contributed significant hours of
professional service to Grace Church gratis.

The firm, in addition to
standard practices of excellence, went above
and beyond in Washingtonville to interact
with the community after the citizens voted
to spend almost forty million dollars on a
comprehensive capital project in the school
district. They presented at some twenty two
school design review committee meetings to
dialog and discuss issues of concern with
all constituent groups about the
construction of a new middle school,
addition of classrooms to the high school
and conversion of the present middle school
to an intermediate school.

project for children “Daisy” received an
