Mr. Cosentino’s firm specializes in Commercial, Municipal, and Residential Projects.   His firm has designed, closely monitored, and managed the completion of hundreds of projects for School Districts, Municipalities, and Commercial Projects throughout New York State.

Mr. Cosentino has lectured on Public Works Construction in New York State and has written Course Materials on the Administration of Contracts for Construction.  He has additionally established himself as a strong force for energy conservation, successfully meeting the needs of Public Entities and Building Owners throughout the region.  Mr. Cosentino is also a strong Client Advocate for the Owner, with Contractors, Manufacturers, and local and state Departments of Jurisdiction.  He holds an active Registered Architect License from the state of New York, has graduated with honors from the Cooper Union School of Art & Architecture, and has attended New York University School of Business.

He has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of Program and Project Management, Project Development, and Architectural Design in the Commercial and Public Sectors, which includes Administration of Contract for Construction; Feasibility Studies; Budget Analysis; Site Evaluation and Selection; and Contract Negotiations.

 

He is a member of several architectural and construction associations, most notably American Institute of Architects (AIA), CSI, RCI, & NYSBOC, is a LEED AP Certified by the US Green Building Council as an Accredited Professional, and was an Architectural Consultant to the School Construction Authority of NYC.

 

A fundamental philosophical principle that Mr. Cosentino actively adheres to is:  “To produce the greatest architecture, an Architect must deliver the Project on the Client’s terms by meeting the direct needs of the Client’s stakeholders and by designing for the most efficient use of space and materials, and the conservation of energy, all within the Client’s Project Budget, and his Maintenance Dollars.”
